24 hours without electricity, and 24 more without internet access, can greatly slow your personal productivity.
That’s not always a bad thing, but it’s not necessarily a good thing, either.
Breakfast with the neighbors at Panera was good, even if the restaurant’s internet access was… inaccessible. Still, I discovered that at this Panera, the extra electrical outlets for laptops are in the ceiling.
A deliberate decision (who’d put them there by accident?); I suppose a retrofit. No email (no access) but at least I got the laptop recharged.
